ABC: The Subliminal in Hard and Soft

The title of the exhibition "ABC" refers to one of the original names for minimalism. In this contect it also refers to codes, language (especially at a formative level) and to early childhood chants. The concers with childhood, the tabla rasa, and the ID of art were eventually all but forgotten as minimalism pursued purified abstraction and elimination of reference. This exhibition brings together two artists who are interested in reformulating these matters into an alternate trajectory.
