While some artists choose to search introspectively for identity, others look to their environment for signifiers to aid in self-expression. Drama, pop icons and cultural references are just a few of the tools artists utilize in order to give the viewer a better understanding of their persona. Extension is the second part in a two part series that explores the concept of self-portraiture. This exhibition is juried by Diana Buckley, Jennifer Jansen, Jennifer Pincus, and is organized by Rebecca Frabizio.
