Artists make their own system - my one false image

A graduate student in SAIC’s Printmedia department, Kim combines screenprinting, installation, and sculptural processes in her exhibition Artists make their own system—my one false image. Kim’s installation, a haunting and semi-transparent environment of plastic bags, translucent fabric, and Plexiglas is a strange simulacra for the physicality of nature. This false, plastic, environment is transformed by Kim’s drawing and screen printing, lending new significance to plastic materials that we use everyday.
