The advent of photography forced viewers to accept what they saw as a documentation of reality. Without using digital manipulation, Seung Jae Kim's work questions both what is real within the photograph as well as how a photograph relates as an object within the world. In his work, he is asking his viewers to go against what they see and accept what he is presenting as an other reality.
