Blow Up: Works for the Invasion of Iran is a single thought made histrionically articulate; an ideal mental space imperfectly displaced to Gallery X. It is the marriage of two models, sincere protest and something like Tom Stoppard's absurdly futile unit Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. The drawings, printed matter and sculptural works that comprise the installation address in a syncopated, circular rhythm the redundancy and impotence of protest: horror brings about thumb twiddling and wordplay.
